Requirements
- At least six years of fullstack software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on frontend development and application architecture.
- Advanced proficiency in React and React Native, including experience building scalable web and mobile applications.
- Backend experience with Python and/or Node.js and the development and maintenance of application services.
- Understanding of API design, frontend-backend integration, and scalable software architectures.
- Experience building applications that process, manage, and visualize complex datasets.
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and services, particularly ECS, CDK, Glue, Firehose, and EventBridge.
- Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Ability and interest in mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering standards and best practices.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills for solving complex technical challenges.
- Comfort working in a rapidly evolving startup environment and taking ownership of challenging projects.
- Familiarity with hardware integration, computer vision, and camera APIs is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize frontend and backend components of the neurotechnology platform.
- Lead development of web and mobile applications using React and React Native.
- Build and maintain backend services using Python and Node.js.
- Develop software that supports communication, control, and synchronization with brain stimulation devices.
- Create data visualization tools, including real-time 3D models and interactive interfaces.
- Design, implement, and maintain APIs connecting frontend applications, backend services, and external systems.
- Contribute to cloud architecture using AWS services and implement security practices for sensitive patient information.
- Gather user and healthcare professional feedback and translate it into application improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders on technical solutions and product improvements.
- Mentor engineers and help grow the international engineering team.
