Requirements
- Have experience at Senior Backend Engineer level.
- Have very good knowledge of Java or Kotlin and the JVM ecosystem.
- Have hands-on experience with AI-assisted programming, especially AI coding agents.
- Be able to delegate tasks to AI effectively and verify the quality of generated code.
- Have strong analytical and logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Be able to independently design backend applications and make architectural decisions.
- Have experience with high-traffic applications.
- Show independence and ownership of the full software lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications in the JVM ecosystem.
- Solve technical problems using AI tools and coding agents.
- Design application architecture and make technical decisions.
- Create and maintain automated tests.
- Participate in deployments and monitoring, and help keep applications stable.
- Maintain service observability, reliability, and performance.
- Take part in on-call duty and resolve production issues.
- Work with the team on high-traffic services.
