Requirements
- Manage projects across a range of security domains.
- Lead several pieces of work at once.
- Be working towards a recognised security qualification, such as CISSP.
- Communicate clearly in writing and conversation.
- Explain complex topics to different audiences.
- Work confidently and independently, including when engaging senior stakeholders.
- Use data to measure and improve work.
- Interpret technical requirements, regulations, and procedures.
- Be open to new approaches and technologies, including GenAI.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects across the security programme, including third-party security, governance, and vulnerability management.
- Represent Security in projects across Monzo, including product launches.
- Help teams identify and manage security risks.
- Write security policies and procedures with teams across Security and the wider bank.
- Mentor and develop Security Analysts.
- Monitor emerging security threats, technology, and risks, and help the organisation prepare.
- Work with internal audit and risk teams to ensure security controls are implemented and regularly assessed for effectiveness.
