Have 10+ years of experience in software development.
Bring proven experience leading delivery of high-volume, high-concurrency, mission-critical distributed systems.
Have deep understanding of modern software architecture, distributed data consistency, fault tolerance, and system performance optimization.
Have strong knowledge of data-intensive applications and architectures supporting machine learning and AI features at scale.
Demonstrate the ability to analyze and communicate technical trade-offs clearly and pragmatically.
Have experience influencing engineering decisions and driving collaboration across teams.
Be able to address complex structural challenges, facilitate difficult technical discussions, and foster an inclusive engineering environment.
Be fluent in Portuguese and have excellent English communication skills; both are mandatory.
Bring strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and an engineering mindset.
Advantageous experience includes architectures integrating large language models, multi-agent AI systems, or complex data pipelines.
FinOps and cost optimization experience in high-throughput cloud environments is an advantage.
Experience migrating legacy monoliths to decoupled, event-driven architectures is an advantage.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies such as Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Go, Python, React, and AWS is an advantage.

Lead the technical design and delivery of high-volume, high-concurrency, mission-critical distributed systems.
Drive architectural decisions addressing scalability, resilience, performance, distributed data consistency, and system optimization.
Design and evolve systems for data-intensive applications and large-scale AI and machine learning capabilities.
Contribute to low-latency conversational experiences, microservices orchestration, and real-time machine learning processing.
Evaluate technical alternatives and communicate trade-offs involving simplicity, flexibility, delivery speed, reliability, and build-versus-buy decisions.
Identify and remove technical and organizational barriers to collaboration and engineering execution.
Lead technical discussions about architectural and structural challenges.
Promote engineering standards and practices that support maintainability, reliability, and long-term scalability.
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to align technical decisions with product and business objectives.
Support knowledge sharing, accountability, continuous improvement, and the evolution of engineering practices, including use of AI-assisted tools.
