Job Details

Strong professional experience in backend software development.
Extensive experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Experience with messaging technologies and event-driven architectures.
Practical knowledge of API design and development, including REST, GraphQL, or RPC.
Experience operating and evolving high-scale production systems.
Knowledge of software testing, quality engineering, and development best practices.
Knowledge of system observability, monitoring, reliability practices, and API security.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with CI/CD processes.
Ability to influence technical and business decisions across teams and mentor engineers.
Practical experience applying AI to software engineering, including evaluating AI-generated output and defining appropriate boundaries for AI tools.
Desirable: experience with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, Kafka, MongoDB, Grafana, or functional programming languages.
Desirable: experience in antifraud or risk management environments.

Define and lead architectural decisions balancing scalability, performance, resilience, and long-term sustainability.
Promote architectural consistency and alignment with engineering strategy across teams.
Investigate complex technical problems, identify root causes, and lead resolution efforts.
Improve software quality, system reliability, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
Participate in critical incident diagnosis, mitigation, resolution, and post-incident improvements.
Establish engineering standards and practices for architecture, quality, observability, and security.
Monitor and improve system health using SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and other engineering metrics.
Mentor senior engineers and contribute to RFCs, ADRs, Tech Radar discussions, and cross-functional forums.
Prioritize technical debt based on business impact and align architecture with product objectives.
Promote strategic use of AI tools while maintaining human judgment and quality standards.
