Requirements
- Have 6+ years of professional experience working with large, complex geospatial datasets in a customer- or stakeholder-facing capacity.
- Demonstrate a track record of driving customer outcomes.
- Have experience leading through influence, including mentoring, reviewing others’ work, and establishing standards.
- Have experience converting bespoke analysis into reusable tools, pipelines, or product features.
- Be proficient with coding agents, Python, Jupyter, and git/GitHub.
- Demonstrate use of AI tools to change how you or your team works.
- Show attention to detail and care with data.
- Be able to solve ambiguous problems and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences and build rapport with customer counterparts.
- Bring an interest in tackling climate challenges with data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Scope open-ended customer questions into analysis plans and lead customer working sessions.
- Deliver technical and analytical work that helps customers get value from Overstory.
- Own complex engagements from identifying useful insights and functionality through delivery and course-correction.
- Advise utility counterparts, including leadership, on technical matters.
- Establish reusable approaches for investigations, analysis documentation, and customer working sessions.
- Mentor and coach team members.
- Build AI-assisted workflows that improve how the team works.
- Prototype and validate customer-driven product opportunities, then hand them off to engineering.
- Strengthen engineering quality so analytical work is easier to validate, hand off, and scale.
- Partner with product and engineering to shape the productization roadmap.
