Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain experience.
- Experience managing supplier relationships, purchase orders, and commercial negotiations.
- Experience procuring services, equipment, materials, or project-related spend.
- Experience supporting supplier onboarding or supplier qualification processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience purchasing construction and installation services, technology, infrastructure, or project-based services is preferred.
- Experience supporting government, municipal, or public-sector customers is preferred.
- Experience with supplier diversity programs, including MWBE, DBE, SBE, or VBE spend tracking and reporting, is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle, ServiceNow, or similar procurement systems is preferred.
- CPSM, CPPB, CPPO, or related procurement certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Procure goods and services for operational, project, and customer requirements.
- Review purchase requisitions, obtain quotations, evaluate pricing and lead times, and issue purchase orders.
- Manage purchasing across technology, project services, construction and installation services, equipment, and operational categories.
- Develop supplier relationships and coordinate supplier onboarding, qualification, documentation collection, and system setup.
- Negotiate supplier pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.
- Monitor and expedite open purchase orders, and resolve delivery, quality, invoicing, and service issues.
- Support RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, bid analysis, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Track MWBE spend, verify certifications, and support customer reporting requirements.
- Maintain purchasing records and supplier information in Oracle, ServiceNow, and related procurement systems.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
