Requirements
- Strong grasp of C# and .NET development.
- Experience with event-driven systems; Azure Service Bus or similar messaging technology such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with microservices architecture, ideally on Azure and Kubernetes.
- Experience using observability tooling such as Grafana or Azure Application Insights to understand production behavior.
- Comfort using AI tools in daily engineering workflows, including design, code review, testing, and incident investigation.
- A DevOps culture mindset, including on-call and production ownership.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams across time zones.
- Openness to continuous learning and feedback.
- Availability to collaborate during core GMT working hours.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate distributed C# and .NET microservices on Azure.
- Develop services within an event-driven architecture supporting products at significant scale.
- Own services end to end, from design and implementation through deployment, production operation, and iteration.
- Design for idempotency, retries, out-of-order events, and failure modes.
- Use observability tools, logs, traces, and metrics to understand production behavior.
- Apply AI tools to design exploration, code generation and review, testing, incident investigation, and technical communication.
- Support and operate systems through on-call work, using incidents to improve platform resilience.
- Collaborate with distributed teams across time zones.
