Job Details

Have 7+ years of experience shipping production full-stack software.
Have experience working directly with technical customers, such as as a forward deployed engineer, solutions engineer, or early founding engineer.
Have experience building and running data pipelines, including ingest, cleaning, redaction, and delivery.
Have hands-on experience shipping substantial work with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar.
Have experience building with LLMs and understanding how they are evaluated.
Be comfortable with non-determinism and reasoning about behavior across a distribution rather than a fixed test suite.
Write clearly and explain tradeoffs to researchers and product managers.
Be based in the Bay Area.
Be able to travel occasionally for customers.

Turn customer briefs into technical plans alongside the Project Lead.
Decide what to reuse, extend, or build, and validate the gap before writing code.
Document program scope, deliverables, implementation, and risks.
Build capture flows, task logic, data pipelines, and delivery across web, mobile, and backend.
Ship production code used by real participants.
Use coding agents and evals in development and teach these practices to others.
Own redaction, validation, provenance, and clean data delivery.
Design quality checks and human-review paths, and measure their effectiveness.
Work with the research team to provide evidence of data quality.
Partner with core engineering to move repeat builds into the platform.
