Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Preferably have experience building and operating at the intersections of IaaS, SaaS, and the cybersecurity industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or proven equivalent work experience.
- Track record establishing full-lifecycle ownership for critical platforms and services, including adoption, customer experience, reliability, security, cost, incident response, and continued evolution.
- Experience delivering and operating cost-effective, mission-critical infrastructure and platform systems.
- Strong business and technical acumen in systems and software engineering.
- Experience establishing operational excellence, optimizing processes and systems, and managing performance metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with C-suite leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading multi-year transformational initiatives in complex environments.
- Experience building, developing, and scaling high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
- Evolve and execute the Platform Engineering vision, strategy, objectives, and roadmaps in alignment with company strategy and customer needs.
- Lead multi-year changes to engineering architecture and operating models, building shared platforms, supported paths, and common practices.
- Design and evolve the organization, ownership model, and operating mechanisms for platforms and services.
- Advance engineering standards, operational excellence, and measurable Agentic Engineering practices.
- Establish quantifiable organizational outcomes and use evidence to guide investment, prioritization, and organizational decisions.
- Build cross-company relationships, align strategies, and represent the technical organization in senior leadership meetings.
- Build and lead a high-performing team through mentoring, coaching, and talent development.
- Own the organization’s investment and capacity strategy in partnership with Finance.
