Requirements
- Hold an associate degree in a related field.
- Have at least five years of experience across multiple aspects of mortgage lending.
- Understand mortgage lending operations, loan processing workflows, and procedures for supporting consumer lending products.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and documentation skills, including the ability to coordinate initiatives and track follow-up actions.
- Maintain accurate operational records and identify issues or discrepancies.
- Support effective problem resolution.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with customers, colleagues, vendors, and external service providers.
- Collaborate across teams and coordinate operational changes, training, and implementation activities.
- Work independently in a remote environment while maintaining communication and coordination with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development, implementation, and post-launch support of approved lending products.
- Prepare management reports on implementation status, deployment progress, issues, and follow-up actions.
- Monitor post-launch loan production and operational performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate onboarding and ongoing support for third-party originated partners and first-lien home equity lenders.
- Provide operational guidance and real-time support to lending partners and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate process-improvement initiatives, including implementation, communication, documentation, and adoption.
- Maintain the operational procedure library and coordinate periodic reviews and updates.
- Coordinate model risk management documentation, reviews, updates, and monitoring.
- Track audit findings and other issues and coordinate remediation through completion.
- Facilitate vendor approvals and ongoing vendor reviews.
