Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
- At least 1 year of experience in a lead or senior business analysis capacity.
- Experience delivering business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or dashboard projects.
- Demonstrated experience in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Experience producing BRDs, functional specifications, process documentation, and data mapping artifacts.
- Hands-on experience in Power BI implementation projects, including requirements definition, dashboard design, data model reviews, and UAT facilitation.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Japanese, with the ability to facilitate business discussions and documentation in both languages.
- Strong understanding of Power BI, including data modeling, star schema concepts, DAX, row-level security, incremental refresh, and dashboard and report design.
- Knowledge of Azure-based data platforms, analytics architectures, data integration, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing concepts.
- Preferred experience in spend analysis, procurement analytics, ERP or procurement platforms, and spend classification frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements elicitation workshops and discovery sessions with procurement, finance, IT, and data stakeholders.
- Analyze and document current-state and future-state business processes and drive continuous process improvement.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions.
- Define data model expectations, calculation logic, KPIs, business rules, visualizations, user stories, and interaction requirements.
- Produce and maintain BRDs, functional specifications, process maps, data mapping documents, and related project documentation.
- Support project delivery through scope definition, effort estimation, dependency management, milestone tracking, and governance updates.
- Coordinate and facilitate UAT, including test planning, defect management, and stakeholder sign-off.
- Support deployment, prepare training and knowledge transfer materials, and provide post-go-live support.
- Guide junior and mid-level business analysts and promote business analysis best practices.
