Job Details

Have led a product design team of comparable size through change.
Have grown designers from mid-level through senior and staff.
Have partnered closely with design engineers and engineering leaders.
Be able to engage with technical decisions that shape the experience.
State a clear point of view to engineering and product leaders while remaining open to challenge and better ideas.
Continue to make product work, including prototyping and critiquing flows at the level of spacing, states, motion, and copy.
Show work from the last year.
Use AI tools in daily work and demonstrate when to intervene because the output is not good enough.
Have designed technically complex products and turned underlying systems into clear, intuitive experiences.

Lead and grow the product design team.
Set craft standards for each level and uphold them through critique and your own work.
Partner with engineering and product from the start of projects so design and engineering ship together.
Give designers ownership of important problems, with the context and trust to make good decisions.
Shape how the team works with AI tools, prioritizing human judgment while using tools to speed up work.
Work with design engineering and the design system team to help teams move faster without limiting new ideas.
