Requirements
- Have at least 8 years of product design experience.
- Have a proven track record of taking projects from concept to launch.
- Use AI tools to explore ideas, pressure-test decisions, and improve design quality.
- Be able to help the team assess AI tools, share effective practices, and establish healthy norms for AI use in design.
- Balance user needs with business needs when making design decisions.
- Maintain a high bar for design quality, including design systems, details, and edge cases.
- Talk to customers, test assumptions, and iterate based on feedback.
- Clearly articulate design decisions and rally people around a vision.
- Mentor other designers and support their craft development.
- Be fluent in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Have a bachelor's or master's degree in Design, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee design for complex and often ambiguous problems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to guide them through challenging spaces.
- Establish a clear design vision and make high-impact decisions that consider business and customer needs.
- Lead design projects in partnership with junior designers and cross-functional teammates.
- Mentor and lead designers while fostering collaboration across areas of expertise.
- Contribute to design strategy discussions and help shape the team's roadmap.
- Align design work with broader product and business strategies.
