Requirements

- Manage multiple projects at once and move them forward quickly to a high bar.
- Be resourceful when there is no obvious answer.
- Be humble and hands-on, and comfortable doing the work yourself.
- Be eager to learn how startups operate.
- Work collaboratively across multiple teams and industries.
- Bring high integrity and a strong moral compass.
- Prior startup experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Take cross-functional operational projects from problem definition to resolution, often without a playbook.
- Support Shaper's core operations and lead initiatives for its portfolio companies.
- Address projects involving tools, scalable systems, strategic finance, and operations.
- Identify broken processes, fix them, and make improvements repeatable.
- Conduct hands-on research and vendor calls.
- Build models and documentation.
- Scope what a problem requires, identify options, and weigh trade-offs.
- Work with Shaper's leadership team and involve relevant people when needed.
