Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of experience supporting case managers at a US personal injury law firm.
- Have hands-on experience scheduling medical appointments and requesting medical records and bills.
- Have strong written and spoken English.
- Be organized and detail-oriented, with reliable follow-through across many active cases.
- Be comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and a legal case management platform.
- Be available full-time during US Pacific business hours.
- Have reliable internet and a dedicated workspace.
- Premises liability case experience, including slip-and-fall or trip-and-fall cases, is preferred.
- Experience working through remote desktop access to a firm's systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Schedule client medical appointments and keep treatment calendars up to date.
- Request medical records and bills, and follow up with providers until they arrive.
- Keep case files organized and current in the firm's case management software.
- Track deadlines and outstanding items, and flag anything at risk to the case manager.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers and insurance representatives to collect missing information.
- Prepare correspondence, forms and simple status updates.
- Protect client confidentiality at all times.
