Requirements
- Have strong computer science fundamentals.
- Have a top-tier educational background in Computer Science or another quantitative major.
- Understand algorithms and data structures.
- Demonstrate strong logic and abstraction ability.
- Preferably understand how software works across the technology stack, including network, memory, and disk.
- Have experience with MVC libraries and microservice practices.
- Know several programming languages; Java, Go, Rust, or C++ are preferred.
- Apply good engineering practices in design, coding, testing, and tooling.
- Demonstrate ownership and a strong ability to learn.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance, efficient, and scalable systems.
- Build systems such as content, identity, reputation, consensus, recommendation, and search systems.
- Build and maintain common libraries and frameworks in the codebase.
- Optionally develop across the React.js-based frontend and Go backend.
- Optionally work on projects combining large-scale systems with machine learning or data engineering.
- Participate in product planning, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Contribute to engineering standards, processes, shared libraries, and tools.
