Requirements
- Have native or fluent Flemish language skills, spoken and written.
- Have a solid command of spoken and written English.
- Hold a valid EU passport.
- Customer service, reservations, travel, or tourism experience is advantageous.
- Be comfortable using digital tools, CRM systems, and online booking platforms.
- Familiarity with Booking.com or similar travel industry platforms is an advantage.
- Bring strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Be able to work efficiently under pressure in a customer-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound reservations enquiries by phone, email, and live chat.
- Assist customers with new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
- Advise customers on travel destinations, accommodation types, pricing, and availability.
- Liaise with hotels, property owners, and other hospitality partners to resolve booking discrepancies, complaints, and urgent concerns.
- Document customer interactions, reservation details, and case resolutions in the internal CRM system.
- Identify opportunities to upsell premium travel packages, room upgrades, and additional tourism services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate complex cases.
- Stay up to date with developments, promotions, and policies in tourism and hospitality.
