- 2-3 years of supervisory/management experience
Requirements
- Hold an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license to practice.
- Have 2-3 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Know NCQA/CMS requirements.
- Have experience using MCG, CMS NCDs/LCDs, and clinical criteria guidelines.
- Have Prior Authorization or Utilization Management experience.
- Have excellent computer skills and familiarity with a Mac.
- Have experience supervising and training in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the RN Reviewer team, including one RN Team Lead.
- Plan the day and communicate the plan to staff.
- Manage daily timeliness reports and ensure cases meet expected turnaround times.
- Monitor nurse productivity reports and provide performance feedback.
- Lead weekly team meetings.
- Gather process-efficiency ideas and work with stakeholders to recommend and lead improvements.
- Meet individually with direct reports every two weeks to discuss performance and develop work relationships.
- Track hourly nurse productivity with RN Reviewer Leads and update the Director/Manager as needed.
- Train and develop new RNs joining the team.
- Oversee daily newsletter publication and assist with other projects as needed.
