Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience as a frontend engineer.
- Experience with React and TypeScript.
- Tailwind is a plus.
- Extensive experience managing releases and monitoring frontend health in a live production environment.
- Ability to explain when and how to use AI to improve development velocity without compromising long-term React codebase maintainability.
- Strong focus on testing, stability, and performance.
- Customer-centric mindset, with an understanding of dental practices’ operational needs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, openness to feedback, and respect for diverse perspectives.
Responsibilities
- Own the frontend technical roadmap, including decisions on state management, component libraries, and build tools.
- Lead major frontend feature and product releases and manage the production lifecycle of owned domains.
- Use AI tools such as Claude for repetitive development tasks while retaining ownership of code logic, security, and architecture.
- Develop and refine AI-powered customer interfaces, focusing on intuitive and high-performing product updates.
- Architect and oversee integration between the Java Spring Boot backend and React/TypeScript frontend.
- Lead and participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve team efficiency.
- Estimate and plan project development efforts for timely, high-quality delivery.
