Requirements
- Bring deep expertise in Kubernetes internals.
- Understand Kubernetes architectural patterns, networking, and storage.
- Have strong programming skills in Go.
- Translate Kubernetes knowledge into clean, efficient Go code.
- Demonstrate building outside of work through projects, experiments, or open-source contributions.
- Be technically capable and self-driven, with the ability to identify and solve problems autonomously.
- Have experience working in a high-growth environment and be comfortable with ambiguity.
- Kubernetes upstream contributions, such as documentation updates, pull requests, or participation in SIGs, are a bonus.
- Early-stage startup experience is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Work with Kubernetes internals to develop container orchestration capabilities.
- Write high-performance, resilient Go code for the vCluster platform's core logic.
- Manage feature development from technical design through release.
- Contribute to open-source projects and engage with the community.
- Develop scalable tenancy models for isolation and resource sharing beyond namespaces.
- Solve complex engineering problems requiring systems architecture understanding.
