Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering; other engineering disciplines or finance/economics may be considered.
- Have 15 or more years of experience in the power industry.
- Have owner’s engineer, independent engineer, and/or design engineer experience in power generation project development and execution.
- Have experience managing teams of engineers.
- Have technical knowledge and experience across multiple power generation technologies, including solar, battery energy storage, wind, and thermal.
- Have experience performing feasibility studies for power projects.
- Experience in long-term power supply and transmission planning projects is a plus.
- Experience in project finance or financial modeling of power projects is a plus.
- Experience with power purchase agreements, asset transfer agreements, and EPC contracts is a plus.
- Prior consulting experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop consulting project execution plans to meet client needs.
- Review project deliverables, including reports and studies.
- Lead project teams and provide clear instructions, including technical approaches.
- Manage hours and work performed against project budgets and scope.
- Develop staff expertise through training and mentoring.
- Prepare proposals for consulting project opportunities.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high quality standard.
- Travel occasionally to project locations and client offices.
