Have up to 2+ years of industry experience in software engineering and testing.
Demonstrate knowledge of at least one web development language, such as TypeScript or JavaScript.
Be comfortable working in a backend language, such as Java, Kotlin, Python, or Go.
Have strong knowledge of test automation methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
Have hands-on experience with web automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
Have experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, such as Buildkite, Spinnaker, or Jenkins.
Have experience with version control systems such as Git.
Be familiar with test coverage, flaky test rate, and suite execution time as quality signals.
Be curious about applying AI/LLMs to testing and developer productivity.
Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.

Build and maintain automated tests and automation coverage for features and releases.
Use AI and tooling to implement test automation across unit, service, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Improve automation frameworks to support new functionality and optimize quality and efficiency.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with the CI/CD team.
Troubleshoot issues found during and after testing, and verify bug fixes.
Collaborate with product engineering, product management, development, and QE teams on test coverage and testing processes.
Participate in design reviews and guide designs and code to improve modularity and testability.
