Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in retail fulfillment operations or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated experience managing fulfillment and delivery operations with 3PLs to retailers.
- Experience managing fulfillment for Target and Best Buy.
- Experience with outbound transportation management and broker or carrier negotiations.
- Experience with EDI order flow, including 850, 856, and 810, and retailer portals.
- Proficiency using warehouse management systems.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with data-driven decision-making ability.
- Project management skills and experience leading cross-cultural teams.
- Bonus: Experience managing fulfillment for Costco, Walmart, Sam’s Club, or BJ’s.
- Bonus: Experience onboarding retailers, running distributor programs, or managing international retail shipments.
- Bonus: Experience with NetSuite, fulfillment automation platforms, or Six Sigma or similar process improvement qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Execute global fulfillment for retail accounts across US and international markets, optimizing delivery performance, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and monitor account KPIs, including on-time delivery, fill rate, lead time, chargeback percentage, and cost.
- Track incoming shipments and quantities, and analyze inventory against retailer on-hand quantities, sell-through, planned orders, and incoming shipments.
- Coordinate with retailer partners and inventory teams on future orders and open shipments, and partner with Sales and Planning on forecast changes.
- Manage relationships with 3PLs, outbound transportation brokers, and carriers, including FTL, LTL, and parcel providers.
- Manage 3PL fulfillment and maintain retailer-specific standard operating procedures, routing guides, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor order processing lead times, troubleshoot delivery and appointment issues, and escalate problems to ensure retailer criteria are met.
- Execute EDI 850 purchase orders, 856 advance ship notices, and 810 invoices for wholesale retail customers.
- Maintain NetSuite order records through intake and validation, 3PL warehouse allocation, and customer delivery.
- Resolve shipment penalties, order errors, and retailer fees; lead retail partner and product launch onboarding and continuous improvement initiatives.
