Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Have at least 2 years of hands-on HR generalist experience.
- Have personally drafted policies, entered payroll, and handled compliance filings.
- Have in-house, multi-state compliance experience.
- Be comfortable handling payroll, benefits, and compliance directly in a small, high-intensity team.
- Be excited to build with AI.
Responsibilities
- Track state-by-state law changes and draft policy updates.
- Ensure policy updates are implemented across employee classifications and pay ranges.
- Lead the annual compliance audit and handbook refresh from start to finish.
- Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions.
- Review and unblock work by Payroll and HR Administration team members.
- Rethink HR operations processes with an AI-native mindset.
- Grow into ownership of day-to-day HR operations management.
