- Bring excellent verbal communication skills and confidence speaking on the phone.
- Have strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Be able to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Be comfortable communicating and negotiating with freight carriers.
- Be able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Show accountability, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Have an interest in developing into a customer-facing Account Manager.
- Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics coordination, dispatching, carrier sales, or transportation operations.
- Preferred: Experience with US freight carriers and transportation networks, DAT or Truckstop, and TMS platforms, particularly Tai Software.
Responsibilities
- Track shipments and provide timely pickup, transit, and delivery updates.
- Vet carriers and coordinate with drivers to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Maintain accurate TMS records, shipment documents, and PODs.
- Resolve delays, carrier issues, and delivery exceptions proactively.
- Manage customer communications and support weekend operations.
- Prepare freight quotes and research market rates using DAT and Truckstop.
- Source qualified US carriers, negotiate competitive rates, and manage load coverage.
- Manage customer accounts from quoting through final delivery as responsibilities expand.
