Requirements
- Have 3+ years of progressive billing and collections experience at a SaaS or technology company.
- Have experience with marketplace platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and related reports.
- Have experience with automation tools and ERP systems such as NetSuite, Stripe, or Salesforce CPQ.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, including interpreting complex contracts and data sets.
- Bring organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively, collaborate cross-functionally, and present information clearly.
- Have experience executing internal controls and maintaining documentation for audit and SOX compliance.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end invoicing and collections for pay-as-you-go and prepaid commit customers.
- Support recurring and usage-based billing across subscription, invoicing, and payment-term configurations.
- Drive system and process improvements, including AI adoption, automation, and integrations.
- Review aging proactively, coordinate collections with Sales, and resolve billing inquiries.
- Recommend quarter-end write-offs and own AR reporting, aging analysis, allowance for doubtful accounts, and related GL reconciliations.
- Support monthly close through contract review, usage validation, invoice verification, journal entries, reconciliations, and analytics.
- Support external audits and manage PBC requests related to billing operations.
- Support user acceptance testing for new SKUs, product launches, pricing models, and business initiatives.
