Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Have 6+ years of SAP HANA development experience.
- Bring hands-on expertise with calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript.
- Understand HANA architecture, including in-memory storage, columnar processing, and parallel execution.
- Have hands-on experience with HANA performance-tuning tools and methodologies.
- Have experience with HANA replication tools, including SLT, SDI, and SDA.
- Have working knowledge of HANA security models, including analytic privileges and roles.
- Be familiar with S/4HANA embedded analytics or BW/4HANA modeling.
- Have strong SQL skills.
- Have troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Preferred: SAP-certified HANA modeling or development credentials.
- Preferred: Experience with HANA Native Storage Extension or dynamic tiering, exposure to HANA Cloud and SAP Datasphere, or familiarity with BTP-based analytics tooling such as SAC.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with large-scale HANA migrations and upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Design HANA-native data models and analytical objects for S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and standalone HANA platforms.
- Build and optimize HANA-native models using calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript.
- Translate business and analytics requirements into performant HANA models.
- Diagnose and resolve HANA performance issues across the SAP landscape.
