Job Details

Have at least 2 years of operations experience, preferably in a start-up, behavioral health clinic, or hospital.
Have experience working directly with customers or patients in a customer experience capacity.
Be comfortable with, or able to quickly learn, digital clinic tools such as digital EMRs, telehealth platforms, and digital intake forms.
Be able to follow operational processes for patient onboarding, including establishing patient charts, welcoming patients, and completing insurance checks.
Have experience with insurance and medical claims processes.
Have experience with credentialing.
Be comfortable working with clinical teams, including LCSWs, LMHCs, care managers, psychiatrists, psych NPs, and licensed peers.
Demonstrate organizational skills and the ability to respond to clinic challenges as they arise.
Be open to and able to respond to constructive feedback.

Manage patient access operations, including appointments, inbound calls, voicemails, and patient inquiries.
Coordinate outreach and engagement using tracking systems for inquiries, record requests, scheduling, and follow-up communications.
Update provider schedules and availability, process overnight messages, and manage electronic health record documentation.
Monitor operational channels, relay critical information to clinical staff, and escalate issues as needed.
Process co-pays and fees, perform routine insurance eligibility checks, and explain billing responsibilities to patients.
Run and audit operational reports, review patient charts for accuracy, and maintain data integrity.
Analyze operational data for leadership and identify workflow optimization opportunities.
