Requirements

  • Six to nine years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally within a high-growth SaaS company or private equity-backed business.

  • Ability to build, maintain, and validate sophisticated, audit-ready operating models connecting financial indicators to business drivers.
  • Experience managing financial forecasts, annual budgets, scenario planning, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including structured, version-controlled financial modeling.
  • SQL proficiency is strongly preferred for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
  • Some experience supporting M&A financial diligence, quality of earnings analysis, or integration modeling.
  • Familiarity with private equity-backed reporting expectations, investor-focused performance reviews, and board-level reporting is an advantage.
  • Comfort working in a lean environment with imperfect data, evolving processes, and ambiguity.
  • Interest in automation, process standardization, data integrity, and scalable financial reporting infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, or a strong interest in applying emerging technologies to modeling and reporting.
  • Ability to explain financial results, challenge assumptions constructively, and collaborate with finance and non-finance leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue and operating profit forecasts and develop driver-based models for revenue, margins, headcount, and cash flow.
  • Lead monthly financial performance reporting, including KPI scorecards, margin bridges, variance analysis, and recommendations for executive leadership.
  • Establish and maintain reporting for SaaS and ARR performance, including MRR, NRR, cohorts, CAC, LTV, and unit economics.
  • Manage annual budgeting and build multi-scenario models for cash runway, profitability, and capital allocation.
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario planning for pricing, go-to-market investments, resource allocation, and headcount planning.
  • Contribute to M&A financial diligence and integration planning, including quality of earnings reviews and supporting financial models.
  • Improve modeling, reporting, and planning processes through automation, stronger data integrity, and standardized methodologies.
  • Build relationships across finance and operational teams and translate business activity into financial insights.
  • Explore AI-powered tools to accelerate financial modeling, analysis, and reporting while maintaining analytical rigor and controls.
