Have 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience building pipelines, data models, and platform infrastructure.
Have proven production experience building data models and transformations in Snowflake.
Bring familiarity with Snowflake architecture, performance optimization, and cost management.
Have hands-on experience with Apache Airflow or an equivalent DAG-based orchestration platform such as Prefect, Dagster, or Mage.
Have production experience using dbt for transformation modeling, testing, and documentation, or equivalent semantic-layer tooling experience.
Demonstrate strong SQL proficiency, including writing, optimizing, and reviewing complex queries across large datasets.
Have experience designing and standing up data platforms or systems from scratch.
Be comfortable with long-term platform development and maintenance ownership.
Use coding agents and AI tooling, and independently set up development environments and repositories.
Be familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code review.
Preferred: experience in pharmacy benefits management, healthcare technology, or a related regulated industry.
Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; data governance, data contracts, or data mesh; streaming pipelines; or semantic and metrics-layer tooling.

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platform infrastructure on Snowflake.
Architect end-to-end data flows from source ingestion through silver and gold layers.
Maintain platform reliability, performance, and ongoing operations; evaluate and refactor systems for scale, cost efficiency, and maintainability.
Establish version control, CI/CD, testing, and documentation standards for platform components.
Design and maintain Apache Airflow or equivalent orchestration workflows, including monitoring, alerting, logging, and automated retries.
Build and maintain tested, documented, version-controlled gold-layer models and a governed metrics layer in Snowflake using dbt.
Define reusable metric definitions and push transformation logic upstream into the warehouse.
Partner with analytics and BI stakeholders on the boundary between data engineering and analytics or reporting.
Structure and document data models to support governance and consistency for AI agents and autonomous analytical systems.
Use coding agents and AI-assisted tooling to develop pipelines, models, documentation, and tests.
