Requirements
- Have 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience in a combined administrator and developer capacity.
- Demonstrate strong SuiteScript 2.x skills, including JavaScript, debugging, governance management, and performance tuning.
- Have experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteQL, saved searches, and SDF deployments.
- Have experience building and supporting integrations using REST/SOAP web services, RESTlets, JSON, and OAuth 2.0.
- Understand NetSuite financial modules, including GL, AP, AR, Revenue Recognition, Inventory, and Procurement, as well as role and permission design.
- Demonstrate experience applying generative AI or machine learning to business systems, including prompt engineering, calling LLM APIs from code, and using AI coding assistants; be able to describe an AI-enabled solution shipped or prototyped.
- Have working knowledge of Git and a sandbox-to-production release process.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
- Preferred: NetSuite certifications, such as SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer II, ERP Consultant, or Administrator.
- Preferred: Experience with SuiteApps, SuiteBilling, Advanced Revenue Management, or multi-subsidiary and multi-currency environments.
- Preferred: Familiarity with iPaaS tools such as Celigo, Boomi, Workato, or n8n, and data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Power BI.
- Preferred: Experience with RAG, vector search, or AI agent frameworks connected to ERP data; knowledge of Python or Node.js; or experience in a SaaS or subscription business.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy SuiteScript 2.x solutions, including User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, RESTlet, and Workflow Action scripts.
- Build and maintain SuiteFlow workflows, custom records, forms, fields, and saved searches.
- Develop and maintain SuiteTalk and RESTlet integrations between NetSuite and CRM, banking, and other data platforms.
- Identify and deliver AI use cases in NetSuite, including data extraction, transaction classification, anomaly detection, forecasting support, and natural-language reporting.
- Integrate LLM APIs and NetSuite's N/llm module into scripts and workflows, using prompt design, guardrails, and logging.
- Administer users, roles, permissions, subsidiaries, accounting periods, and segregation-of-duties controls.
- Maintain sandbox and production environments, manage releases, and test NetSuite releases.
- Monitor script performance, governance limits, integration failures, and data quality, and resolve issues.
- Gather requirements from business teams and translate them into technical designs; provide tier-3 support, training, and documentation.
