Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive experience as a Finance System Administrator with NetSuite and financial systems tools such as Zip, Avalara, or Expensify.
- Hands-on IT support experience, including troubleshooting and resolving functional and technical issues.
- Experience with NetSuite data migration, data mapping, and data integration, including the Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module and Zone and Company billing modules.
- Experience integrating accounting systems with Salesforce / SFDC; CPQ experience is preferred in the stated integration context.
- Administrator-level knowledge of privileged access, content groups, multiple charts of accounts, dynamic approval chains, custom objects, tax codes, tolerances, custom workflows, supplier configuration, and report building.
- Knowledge of ITGCs and experience in SOC-, ISO-, and SOX-compliant environments.
- Experience with project management concepts and tools such as GitHub, Monday.com, and Miro.
- Knowledge of core accounting processes, including order to cash, procure to pay, and record to report.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a rapidly changing global and remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day operations of NetSuite and other finance business systems, providing user support and troubleshooting.
- Administer NetSuite financial, Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), and Zone billing modules.
- Configure, customize, upgrade, and maintain systems while following change management, ITGC, and SDLC processes.
- Develop workflows, custom fields, and scripts, and manage NetSuite integrations with other business systems.
- Oversee user access, segregation-of-duties reviews, governance, change management, and finance system structures.
- Manage finance transformation projects focused primarily on the order-to-cash cycle.
- Gather requirements and implement process improvements with Sales, Legal, Engineering, Finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams.
- Plan and prioritize projects, defining timelines, milestones, resources, and measures of program success.
- Create finance dashboards, reports, and visualizations using NetSuite native tools and Grafana.
