Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience building, shipping, and maintaining production-grade full-stack software products.
- Have experience building, fine-tuning, or deploying agentic AI systems and LLM-powered applications in production.
- Have a customer-centric approach and be able to engage directly with enterprise stakeholders.
- Be comfortable making decisions and taking ownership in ambiguous situations with partial information.
- Demonstrate the ability to build prototypes quickly and iterate based on real-world usage and customer feedback.
- Have proficiency with React and TypeScript for frontend development, and Next.js and TypeScript for backend development.
- Bring architectural experience with distributed systems, AWS, Kubernetes, and LLM providers.
- Have experience with engineering tools such as GitLab, Datadog, OpenTofu, and multi-LLM orchestration tools.
Responsibilities
- Define how the Forward Deployed Engineering team operates, including internal playbooks and technical roadmap.
- Partner with strategic enterprise customers to map complex L&D workflows and identify opportunities for agentic AI.
- Design, build, and deploy custom AI agents integrated with customer systems and the Docebo Agent Hub.
- Translate customer insights into foundational platform enhancements and scalable features.
- Own the product lifecycle from discovery and system architecture through production deployment, monitoring, and iterative optimization.
- Shape the founding FDE team’s culture, operational rituals, and cross-functional organizational design.
