Salary$85,000 and $150,000 inclusive of salary, commission, bonus.

Job Details

Have firsthand experience and knowledge of food service, distribution, or the hospitality industry.
Have general knowledge of pastry ingredients and techniques used in pastry arts.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Outside sales experience is preferred.
A bachelor’s degree or culinary degree is preferred.
Be able to lead marketing events, shows, demonstrations, and networking events.
Be a goal-driven self-starter able to work independently on the road with minimal direct supervision.

Analyze the customer base and product needs to recommend suitable solutions, and maintain information in the CRM database.
Advise customers on market conditions, innovations, and product information, and provide practical training to their staff.
Present products and conduct tastings for key decision makers, including Executive Chefs, Pastry Chefs, and Food and Beverage Directors.
Gather competitive market intelligence and develop sales strategies to grow market share within the territory.
Evaluate market trends through social media and collaborate on official AUI Fine Foods social media posts.
Develop new business through cold calling, lead databases, and participation in local pastry and restaurant organizations.
Collaborate with Customer Service, Inside Sales, Purchasing, Shipping, and Finance to provide requested customer information.
Travel to visit customers within the assigned territory.
Review past-due accounts and facilitate payment communications with customers.
Provide CRM item forecasts for large business or upon request.
