Requirements
- Have proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, ideally for a design system, component library, or internal platform product.
- Have experience managing a platform as a product, including internal users, adoption, and cross-team dependencies.
- Collaborate effectively with design and engineering teams.
- Have sufficient technical understanding to discuss theming, tokens, and component architecture.
- Be familiar with Web and mobile app development contexts, including iOS and Android.
- Know accessibility standards and assistive technologies.
- Have experience defining success metrics, OKRs, and adoption baselines.
- Demonstrate stakeholder management and the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Be able to travel to the UK at least once or twice a month.
Responsibilities
- Drive the long-term vision, adoption, and implementation of the design system across Web and App platforms.
- Manage the product roadmap and prioritize the backlog against business goals and objectives.
- Coordinate design and engineering workstreams to support internal product teams.
- Advocate for the design system and share progress across the business.
- Set design standards through reusable components and patterns.
- Embed accessibility guidelines and support for assistive technologies into the design system.
- Partner with App teams to ensure technical alignment with Liquid Glass and Edge-to-Edge requirements.
- Establish productivity baselines and success metrics aligned with business OKRs and the online scorecard.
- Support contribution models and governance structures as the design system evolves.
- Build an engaged user community through outreach, feedback, and quarterly surveys.
