Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience operating OpenStack in production and a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure architecture and operations.
- Experience managing Kubernetes infrastructure at scale, ideally in bare-metal or private cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and storage technologies.
- Practical experience with infrastructure automation, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure, networking, and performance issues in production.
- Understanding of infrastructure reliability, monitoring, incident management, security controls, and operational best practices.
- Experience implementing or maintaining access controls, network policies, and tenant isolation across cloud and container platforms.
- Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and manage complex projects without extensive supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design efficient, reliable, and maintainable systems as workloads and infrastructure scale.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working across engineering and product teams.
- Experience integrating Kubernetes with OpenStack, GPU infrastructure or HPC, or open-source contributions is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with advanced networking technologies and broader cloud-native ecosystems is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, operate, and improve production OpenStack and Kubernetes environments.
- Own infrastructure systems from architecture and implementation through operations and optimization.
- Automate provisioning, deployment, configuration, and routine operational workflows using infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices.
- Improve infrastructure delivery with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
- Optimize Kubernetes workload scheduling, including GPU workloads, using Kubernetes capabilities and NVIDIA tooling.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Lead incident response, troubleshoot complex infrastructure and performance issues, and prevent recurring problems.
- Maintain infrastructure security controls, including RBAC, network policies, and tenant isolation.
- Collaborate with platform engineering, DevOps, AI, product, and support teams to align infrastructure with technical and customer requirements.
