Requirements
- Have 6+ years of Python experience, including experience with high-performance data systems such as StarRocks.
- Have 2+ years in a role with technical leadership responsibilities, such as team leader or tech lead.
- Have experience planning, estimating, and delivering complex projects, such as a database migration.
- Have deep familiarity with data lakehouse architectures.
- Have experience with data gathering or data scraping.
- Have a strong understanding of performance optimization and scalability principles.
- Be confident owning decisions with business impact.
- Be able to work under high delivery pressure and manage trade-offs.
- Have a B1+ level of English.
Responsibilities
- Own the planning and delivery of technical roadmap items.
- Lead backend, full-stack, and QA engineers, organize day-to-day work, and support predictable delivery.
- Improve estimation accuracy and reduce delivery delays.
- Plan quarterly work and contribute to multi-quarter planning with the Director of Data & AI and Product Manager.
- Maintain and regularly review the technical risks registry, managing risks early.
- Optimize data gathering processes, data pipelines, performance, and system reliability.
- Modernize legacy services, improve architecture, and reduce technical debt.
- Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and other teams on priorities and alignment.
- Ensure documentation, visibility, and knowledge sharing within the team.
