Job Details

Bring a solid data engineering background with strong SQL and data modeling skills, including star or snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions, and partitioning or clustering.
Have hands-on experience building production-grade data pipelines on Databricks and GCP.
Have experience with orchestration and workflow tools, specifically Airflow or Cloud Composer, and DAG-based scheduled and event-driven jobs.
Be familiar with open table formats; Iceberg is preferred, with Delta Lake or Hudi acceptable.
Have strong programming skills in Python; Scala, Java, or Go are also relevant.
Understand data quality, lineage, and observability, including SLA/SLO monitoring, detecting missing or late loads, and backfilling strategies.
Be able to work across product and engineering teams and turn ambiguous problem statements into incremental deliverables.
Preferred: experience with Flink, Iceberg, Spark on DataProc, marketing analytics, CDPs, BI or semantic layers, Looker, dbt, Cube, Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
Use coding agents as a core part of the daily workflow; the posting names Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, and Gemini CLI.

Design data pipelines from Kafka through Flink and GCS Iceberg to Databricks using medallion architecture.
Build with Databricks notebooks and Spark Declarative Pipeline.
Own data models and ETL mutations for ID resolution and consent semantics.
Maintain orchestration using Airflow or Cloud Composer, along with monitoring.
Design canonical metrics and models on Databricks.
Support semantic layers and BI tools such as Cube and Looker Studio.
Ensure integration with the Marketing Agent Insights skill.
