Professional experience designing, building, and operating backend applications and distributed systems in production.
Hands-on experience with Kotlin and Go, or substantial professional experience with modern Java and willingness to work primarily with Kotlin and Go.
Knowledge of event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, Kafka or equivalent message brokers, and resilient API design.
Experience building and operating containerized microservices using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and DynamoDB, and experience with data modeling and database management.
Familiarity with enterprise integrations and business-critical systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Segment or comparable platforms.
Experience implementing observability and reliability practices, including monitoring, distributed tracing, SLOs, and alerting.
Interest in AI coding assistants and modern development tools.
Strong problem-solving skills, systems thinking, and ownership of complex technical challenges.
Fluency in Portuguese for daily team interactions and professional working proficiency in English for cross-team communication and documentation.
Ability to work autonomously and collaborate within a distributed engineering team.

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain backend services supporting the SMB customer acquisition funnel.
Build and evolve event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging workflows using Kafka.
Develop and optimize integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, and Segment.
Establish observability practices using Datadog and OpenTelemetry, including SLOs, monitoring, and alerts.
Partner with Product, Marketing, and Sales stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
Collaborate with engineering teams on system architecture, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.
Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, delivery, test coverage, and documentation.
Own services from technical design and implementation through deployment, production monitoring, troubleshooting, and improvement.
