Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and maintaining scalable, highly available, high-load systems.
- Put customers at the core of business decisions and actions.
- Have experience with Golang, or proficiency in another backend programming language and willingness to learn Golang.
- Have experience with React or an equivalent framework, and willingness to learn React.
- Be familiar with modern software build pipelines and tools.
- Be proficient with NoSQL and SQL databases, with willingness to learn MongoDB, Bigtable, and PostgreSQL.
- Have experience with real-time distributed messaging tools such as NSQ or Pub/Sub.
- Have working experience with a cloud provider; Omnisend uses Google Cloud Services.
- Have experience with event-based architecture.
- Be willing to incorporate coding agents into engineering work.
Responsibilities
- Contribute significantly to product development decisions.
- Design, develop, and test features.
- Resolve technical challenges to support seamless system functionality and optimal performance.
- Maintain features with effective monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Share best practices with team members.
