Bring strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining applications with C# and .NET.
Have experience maintaining Windows desktop applications and user interfaces.
Have strong experience with relational databases, SQL Server, data access, troubleshooting, and performance considerations.
Have experience developing and supporting REST APIs and application integrations.
Have experience working with applications and services deployed in Microsoft Azure.
Have experience with source control, automated builds, deployment, release management, and troubleshooting deployed applications.
Have experience supporting mature production software, including bug fixes, maintenance releases, and incremental feature development.
Be able to diagnose problems across application, database, infrastructure, and customer environments.
Be comfortable taking responsibility for a product area, managing priorities, and following issues through to completion.
Be comfortable working independently and making practical engineering decisions within an established product architecture.
Be able to work with Support, Business Development, Product Management, developers, and other stakeholders to communicate technical issues.
Be able to collaborate across engineering teams and contribute to new product work, including SaaS development, scientific algorithms, performance optimization, and scalability.

Take primary engineering ownership of maintenance and support for existing Virscidian products.
Investigate and resolve software defects, production issues, and customer-reported problems.
Work with Support, Business Development, Product Management, and engineering teams to understand issues, priorities, and customer impact.
Implement product features and enhancements as customer and business needs evolve.
Maintain and enhance C#/.NET applications, including WPF and WinForms desktop interfaces, services, Web APIs, and supporting components.
Work with SQL Server databases, data access layers, stored procedures, and application data models.
Support Azure-hosted resources and existing DevOps, build, deployment, and release processes.
Troubleshoot issues across software, databases, configuration, deployment, and customer environments.
Improve visibility and communication of product issues for engineering and business stakeholders.
Contribute to new product development, including SaaS platform work, scientific algorithms, and performance and scalability improvements when appropriate.
