Requirements
- At least 8 years of technical program management experience in software engineering or another highly technical environment.
- Proven record leading large-scale, cross-functional technical programs involving multiple product development teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, artificial intelligence, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of modern engineering practices.
- Ability to engage with senior leaders, assess technical trade-offs, and navigate complex challenges in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Ability to align diverse teams and influence executive-level decisions without direct authority.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including translating strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, dependencies, and risks across multiple programs.
- Preferred: Experience at a major technology company, such as a Mag 7 or FAANG organization, or in a high-growth startup.
- Preferred: Experience managing complex technical programs in client-facing consulting or professional services.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, large-scale technical programs involving multiple development teams, products, and organizations.
- Oversee program schedules, dependencies, risks, resource allocation, and critical blockers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and executive stakeholders, setting expectations and communicating progress.
- Partner with senior leaders to resolve challenges, evaluate technical trade-offs, and support strategic decisions.
- Translate technical concepts into business implications and facilitate collaboration across engineering, product, design, and other functions.
- Establish goals, ownership, and accountability across teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve program processes, predictability, and execution.
- Track progress against program objectives and promote measurable business and technical outcomes.
