Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams and using project management techniques.
- Have direct experience with observability.
- Know best practices for using and deploying observability stacks, including visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, and traces.
- Have experience with Grafana products; Grafana, Prometheus/Cortex/Enterprise Metrics, Loki/Enterprise Logs, and Jaeger/Tempo are preferred.
- Bring a track record of successfully delivering customer projects; enterprise observability implementations for large customers are preferred.
- Have experience with Kubernetes; kubectl, Helm, and Tanka are preferred.
- Have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Be effective working with customers, including business executives, project managers, and IT development staff.
- Be able to understand business needs and translate them into business and technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Guide customers through onboarding, implementation, and expansion with Grafana.
- Deliver customer training, jumpstart engagements, and tailored technical consulting.
- Understand business needs and translate them into business and technical requirements.
- Design solutions for data visualization, workflows, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture.
- Lead functional workshops, document requirements, and design appropriate solutions.
- Guide project execution, manage timelines, and unblock teams during customer engagements.
- Advocate for standards and best practices in customer solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services on product and offering improvements.
