Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience working on deployment teams and using project management techniques.
- Have direct experience with observability (o11y).
- Know best practices for using and deploying an observability stack, including visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, and traces.
- Have experience with Grafana products, preferably Grafana, Prometheus/Cortex/Enterprise Metrics, Loki/Enterprise Logs, and Jaeger/Tempo.
- Bring a track record of successfully delivering customer projects; enterprise observability implementations for large customers are preferred.
- Have experience with Kubernetes, including kubectl, Helm, and preferably Tanka.
- Have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Be effective communicating with customers, partners, and internal team members.
Responsibilities
- Work with business executives, project managers, and IT development staff to support customers.
- Understand business needs and translate them into business and technical requirements.
- Design solutions for data visualization, workflows, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture.
- Lead functional workshops, document requirements, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Guide customers through onboarding, implementation, and expansion with best practices and technical consulting.
- Deliver customer training and jumpstart engagements.
- Provide roadmap assurance, guide project execution, and align Grafana capabilities with customer architecture, goals, and constraints.
- Identify recurring issues and support needs, and advocate for product improvements with internal teams.
- Stay current on Grafana Labs, observability, and related technologies.
