- Be admitted to practice in New Mexico; additional admissions are a plus.
- Have 3+ years of insurance coverage experience.
- Have excellent academic credentials.
- Have a solid work history.
- Demonstrate strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Have interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Be able to handle highly sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
- Be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Have excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Be able to identify and resolve problems quickly.
Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings and briefs.
- Prepare and respond to written discovery.
- Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients.
- Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide client recommendations.
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis.
- Review documents in preparation for litigation.
- Attend and conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations as required.
- Submit filings to the court.
