Requirements
- Have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Bring strong commercial experience with PHP and frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
- Have advanced proficiency in PostgreSQL, SQL optimisation, and relational database design.
- Have experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Have strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and jQuery.
- Understand object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns.
- Have practical experience applying SOLID, DRY, KISS, and YAGNI principles.
- Have experience working in Linux environments, including server troubleshooting and log analysis.
- Be familiar with Windows development environments.
- Have experience developing or supporting applications involving financial transactions, billing systems, or payment gateways.
- Have experience integrating with external APIs or government systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
- Translate business and user requirements into secure, efficient, and maintainable software solutions.
- Develop backend services using PHP, Laravel, and other object-oriented frameworks.
- Build frontend applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and existing jQuery components.
- Design and optimise PostgreSQL queries, reports, and high-volume data processing operations.
- Develop and maintain payment processing, billing, reporting, and third-party integration features.
- Troubleshoot production issues across application code, databases, and Linux environments.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards, software architecture, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable software.
- Enhance the platform while maintaining system stability, security, and performance.
