Requirements
- Have roughly 5 to 8 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture, corporate development, or strategy at a high-growth technology company.
- Drive ambiguous problems from initial framing through a recommendation, defining outputs and timelines and coordinating the right people.
- Have designed and deployed AI agents into real workflows using tools such as Claude, Claude Code, MCP connectors, or comparable frameworks.
- Use AI to improve the speed and quality of analysis and rigorously check its work.
- Build financial models and valuations from first principles.
- Pressure-test assumptions and defend analytical conclusions.
- Communicate clearly in writing and in discussions with senior leaders.
- Welcome challenging questions and build credibility with stakeholders.
- Nice to have: experience with B2C subscription or consumer technology businesses.
- Nice to have: hands-on M&A diligence or integration experience.
- Nice to have: comfort with SQL or BI tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic analysis from problem framing through recommendations for executive review.
- Identify and recommend international and adjacent acquisition candidates.
- Build AI agents to identify and track potential targets in agreed priority areas.
- Develop repeatable target-analysis workflows using AI agents.
- Own analytical workstreams on acquisitions and strategic investments.
- Conduct market sizing, operating and valuation modeling, and diligence analysis.
- Partner with finance, legal, and product teams on live deals.
