Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- 3 years of experience building highly distributed microservices.
- 3 years of experience with SQL databases, including PostgreSQL.
- 3 years of experience with caching, performance, monitoring, and scalability.
- 3 years of experience with server-side technologies including Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- 3 years of experience with client-side technologies including React Native and Angular.
- 2 years of experience with AWS or similar cloud-based infrastructure.
- 2 years of experience leading the architecture, design, development, and deployment of large-scale projects.
Responsibilities
- Drive technical strategy and execution for engineering teams.
- Lead development of a scalable, high-performance lending ecosystem from customer onboarding to checkout.
- Architect and build customer-centric financial products and orchestrate large-scale financial transactions.
- Design, build, and maintain customer-facing lending applications using Node.js, TypeScript, React/Redux, Angular, Sequelize, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
- Develop testable code and implement unit and integration tests with Mocha, Chai, Sinon, and Sequelize.
- Improve platform performance, security, scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Debug and resolve defects using profiling, logging, log analysis, tracing, and FullStory session replays.
- Oversee code deployment to Staging and Production and partner with Quality Engineers to improve automated testing coverage.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, break product requirements into engineering deliverables in Jira, and review product requirements, epics, and user stories.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in rotating on-call support for production applications.
