Requirements
- Have a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Be proficient in AutoCAD.
- Have a strong understanding of interior design principles, building codes, and construction processes.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality technical drawings.
- Have communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software such as SketchUp, Lumion, or V-Ray.
- Preferred: Knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture sourcing.
- Preferred: Familiarity with sustainable design practices and LEED standards.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed interior design working drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Translate conceptual designs into technical documentation using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with designers and architects to ensure designs are visually compelling and technically feasible.
- Maintain technical standards and ensure drawings adhere to applicable building codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to communicate design intent.
- Review and revise drawings based on client feedback, design updates, and project requirements.
- Contribute to selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings in line with project goals.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
